bourbon on an empty stomach

Well, I ate 3 Sultanas for lunch and smoked a cigarette (I am a non smoker) and had an entire day at the museum sorting out Assfaces´s mess while my students from ceramics were there!

Arrrrgh. Needless to say, I was craving a bourbon and coke the ENTIRE TIME...all I could think of was Bourbon and Coke. Then, and this is strange as hell, the subdirector of the museum asked me, "What is the difference between Bourbon and Whiskey?" And I nearly peed my pants because I had said nothing out loud about my craving.

I explained that Bourbon had to be made from the beautiful and ever revitalizing waters from Bourbon, Kentucky and that nobody can put Bourbon on their bottle if it is not from Kentucky. THIS IS A FACT. It is like making Champagne in California...you have to call it sparkling wine. The grain used has to be over 51% corn and aged in charred barrels, etc., etc. Bourbon can be a whiskey BUT neither Jack nor Southern can call themselves a bourbon. Processes are different too. Charcoal filtered not aged in charred caskets.

ANYWAY. As soon as I came home, after not eating breakfast or lunch, I drank a glass of B and C and got wasted. I was the mother who came to daycare smelling of alcohol. Rui was driving ofcourse. But, we went shopping...I was completely overwhelmed in the cheese section. Which brie to buy?

Then, I got sleepy and was as grumpy as Gabriel. Speaking of sleepy, good night.

Or even Port made outside of Portugal, which I recently saw at the grocery store.
