mexican coffee and baby hedgehogs

Lisbon, rainy morning. I am drinking the most beautiful coffee in the world. Mexican coffee sent to me by a Mexican Princess. I have tequilla from a Mexian archaeologist but I will not be hitting that today! This coffee makes me feel so perfect...like Mayan royalty. On top of the coffee, this is the first day this year that I have really needed to bundle up, socks, sweater and house pants. Finally, the heat is gone.

As if things could not get any better, I am listening to NPR in a very quiet house. And if it appears as if it could not get any better, I am going to an opening tonight, at the archaeological museum, for Roman mosaics here in Portugal. I will post pictures later. Much of Palma´s mosaics will be there! So exciting. Very exciting. I have never seen all of them because they are usually in storage. Truly exciting.

Plus, these hedgehogs are too much. Life is so precious and fragile. Okay, I am waxing poetic now. It's the Mexican coffee..
