Feeling past frustrations again

History has a repetitive, sometimes predictable, cycle. If we can grow enough as individuals to see when that own cycle is repeating itself in our lifetime, we are made wiser for it.

I'm feeling like this pussycat to the left. Just a bit pissed off, a bit overwhelmed and looking for better days to come because, unlike important figures in history, I am powerless in my present situation.

Finishing the dissertation, stiff upper lip and don't let the bastards (that is not gender specific) wear you down. Be thankful for what I have; children, husband, house, rewarding career, Reese's Pieces in the refrigerator, and an interchangeable parts Voodoo doll. Always a necessity in this world...and the other.

And, of course, beijinhos to all of you backstabbers, liars and plagiarizers out there. Judas sends his best, too.

Song of the day: The Stranglers', Golden Brown
Form of the day: it is a formless day, anything unidentifiable
Quote of the day: "Who spits against the wind, spits in his own face."
